Kitten is wanting to be this 'heel' type character. Like all of these losers, it's all about trying to get noticed, or make an impression. C4 have certainly went with the 'water cooler talk' idea with putting in as many conflicting characters to try and get arguements. Hell it would be funny if everyone got on and screwed up there plan, but that ain't going to happen. I guarantee they will have a discussion night setdown by BB if they don't argue soon enough.
Its not over until the fat lady sings...and nadia has done none of that yet...there are four great characters in there...keep them in and youre onto a win...

what is it about kitten and marco that winds people up? oh dear they don't conform to the gender rules do they. how impolite of them. they should have both paid more attention to the gender rules at school. perhaps the proper way for a boy and girl to behave should have been beaten into them. especially in marco's case because apparently there is such a thing as being "too camp". bad marco. perhaps evil big brother will teach them a lesson.

Stop generalising. Not everyone hates the likes of Kitten and Marco because of their bucking any particular "gender rule". I don't like Kitten because so much of her persona seems contrived and 'rebellious for rebellion's sake'. I couldn't give a monkey's what her sexuality is, she could be a necrophile as far as I am concerned. My basis for disliking her was the very forced looking kiss, where, to me her partner seemed less forthcoming as she did. If I kissed my own partner to make a political issue or point on television - Kitten obviously has an agenda to bring out particular 'issues' into the open - I think they would be a little hurt to put it mildly.
Similarly, the her farcical entrance. It's not the fact that she was looking for her lesbian partner, it was the sheer foot-stamping petulance of it, and again, the contrivance itself.

There is such a thing a thing as "too camp" because any perception as such is purely subjective. Personally, it's not his campness per se that aggrieves me, it's the level of it. Again, I couldn't care what his sexuality is, as it's not about him being a camp gay man. It's about the irritance factor. If his voice was equally shrill and his general mannerisms as magnified, but he was a hetrosexual man, I'd still find him irritating.
I'm going to pre-empt any ridiculous accusations of "so you only like gay people when they're not camp", by assuring you that it's more akin to a far more general (and non sexually motivated) annoyance such as Jade's loudness, Ashley Peacock's voice on Coronation Street, Fred Elliot's peculiar phrase repetion etc., etc..
Marco is funny but his skipping about and clapping like a mad toy penguin kept driving me nuts. But I think he should stay, hes gonna provide us with a good gossip.
But I'm just wondering, surely this will have to be the last big brother, what could they possibly do to top this combination of human beings? I suppose they could do a big brother full of OAPs, though i don't suppose anyone will tune in to watch them in their swimming costumes.
Maybe they should do the Xrated version, purely for adults and have tasks based on the kamasutra or something.

I think you'd struggle to match that opening show for the sheer levels of incredulity aroused among the viewers. However, if this series flies then I daresay another 12 'interesting' folk can be found for next year.

i really cannot see this lot providing any entertainment unless there's confrontation. they don't strike me as people who really are up for a laugh (with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions)
