    Eh?

MSN can be dangerous, as I found out last night. :)

Not sure where my girlfriend (possibly not the right word, it's complex!) stands on me chatting to girls on MSN, but I do.

Isn't it reasonable to have friends of a similar age of the opposite sex?

I'm not au fait with this MSN malarky but how is it any different to talking with people on DS? And what's age got to do with it?

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. However there are circumstances in which it would make me jealous.

i dont see it as a problem at all if a partner isnt happy then be it online or in the street she/he will stray
personally i think online chatting of the asl type is just sad
ive got icq and aim ,and you wouldnt believe the amount of women that cold call me as a complete stranger very strange (i use both to contact poker pals in the us and europe its handy for setting up tables etc )
i wonder how many were in relationships or married ?

Age has nothing to do with it - say for example you had wanted to just chat with BBG off topic of the boards its like phoning someone but over a computer its free and u only give your email to friends and family and stuff

You're chatting one to one or in a small group in real time and no one else can read it............. :o

Nowt to do with age............it's thought that teenagers spend all their time on there, but nearly everyone I know online uses it.

    Except you, it seems.............. :p

What Mrs Harman says - it's an Instant Messaging 'thing'. Like sending text messages to each other on-screen, only much easier (and free)! :)

(Oh, and you can setup webcamming and audio together. Like a video phone only.. free! :D)

And me. And the grown-ups what I know (our kids use it though). It's an open channel for txt spk, innit, in a continuous stream of nark, jealousy and strop. Hence my suggestion that it should have been posted in the yoofklub forum :-)

Well, there's a difference between talking to friends (of either sex) - and then everything else. I suppose the kissing thread has a lot in common with this one. :)
