GAH - I forgot to set up my tape and missed the first guy's pitch!! I started just as the dragons were eating something(?)

If someone could give me a quick run-down of what the pitch was (but not the result) I'd be realy grateful!! :)

    10% for 150,000...

Even if the Dragon's like it, I can't see them going for it at that price.

Quite an instructive episode so far - the Dragon's have been "pleasant" and there have been some good lessons in market research and products that can make huge money versus products that can just make someone a decent living etc.

    #28: learn what humility is...

Lots of sound advice from the Dragon's tonight; they are not trying to intimidate the contestants or the viewers, which makes a changes...

#14: Don't dress smartly! And don't kick off when you're judged accordingly.

Great idea. A whole Japanese cooking kit in a box. Stone Tile, Gas cooker/rice bowls/sauces/chopsticks etc.

Dragons loved the food (he had to pitch and cook at the same time)

I'd buy it, but agree that it would probably end up as little used as a fondue set.

    :)

Was it just me or did the confrontational, inappropriately dressed bloke remind anyone else of Paul from The Apprentice?

No money for anyone tonight then!

Why did they let the baby-rocker blokes back. It's a good products but WHY did they ask for 250k. Shot themselves in the foot. Unless of course they though it would be some good free advertising (again).

Ad agency bloke really got my back up - I wanted to jump in the tellybox and deck him!

A few good ideas in there though, which I'm sure have a future despite the lack of investment from the Dragons.

But like Peter Jones said, shouldn't they get the idea up and running and generating their income for them.

Fair point, it is in the presentation, but remember that as soon as somebody mentions "other running costs" the response would be "what other running costs?"

Does anyone find the nasty overprocessed picture and "filmic" effect as annoying as I do? I can't watch the programme because of this.
