Fridays of old were always a bit patchy for onboards but were ironed out for later sessions. I remember one instance at Interlagos 2002 where there was substantial breakup at the end of the pit straight but it was perfect for Saturday's qualifying. They must send the FOM camera car mule around afterwards and reposition the nodes.
Ok the graphics are growing on me but I was comparing them to 2002 Bernievision and not from a worldfeed perspective. Lets see if it continues all year round..

New GFX look interesting from the screen caps, bit cluttered, not sure I like the typeface at first glance, can't beat Futura Bold in the blue boxes but I guess it'll grow on me. Looks like the F1 logo has got brighter too, but at least there is no scrolling topbar that the USA love to use in their coverage.
And after all the hype who's 1.8 seconds faster that everyone else- some things never change!

Onboards initially seem a bit more sorted now ..................................... and ................. WALL-CAM on the back straight :D happy days are here again!
