Chrysalis Group radio station on 28.2º East

Today they have problems with the uplink on 12363 V, 27500, 2/3 on Astra 2B.

The audio is corrupt and this is happening to Galaxy and Heart, as far as I know.

Two weeks ago I noticed the same problem, while listening to what I recorded on minidisc from the stations mentioned above : Hit 40 UK and The A List.

    it's really annoying me. i'm listening to LBC and i told them it was doing this last night. now it's going off all the time. is it the heat?

    It could be the heat. High temperatures don´t work with digital transmissions.

    It´s almost the same when direct sun heats the LNB from the dish and the signals go down and the audio, when it´s a radio, breaks .

    There is a long hot summer .... :(

    Edit : And besides, I don´t trust those satellite streams anymore, so I will consider recording those shows via Arquiva´s radio feeds on Sirius 2.

    Do the stations of this radio group have problems again tonight on 10862 H, Astra 2D?.

    Especially Galaxy Digital.

    If you're hearing the same problem on each of their stations then yes.
    There will be a problem from their head office at Heart 106.2 in London to Sky.

    I think its a problem with the bad weather and its general on Astra 2D.
