  don't think thats possible is it?
  could always buy a cable, bluetooth/infrared adapter to transfer things to your phone... i'm sure theyre available for most newish phones

  If your phone is a SonyEricsson try http://www.myt610.net, where you download the tune you want,then using a data cable or infrared adapter send it to your phone.
  PS: Ringtones and wallpapers work for any enabled SonyEricsson's and might also work on other makes of phones.

  I have an IRDA so all I want is a site were I can get them for free without paying £3 for one to be sent to me.

  I have a rar archive with 4826 polyphonic ringtones in it, but it's 27.6 meg.
  
  If you can work out a decent way to get them to you there yours for free.
