7 Day EPG Arrives

Hi Guys,

Just setting up a thread to discuss the arrival of the 7 day EPG using the EIT system. I understand that there is already a thread with information in it but the subject and title of the thread does not really reflect the rest of the country.

From information that is contained in another thread, transmitters currently carrying the 7 Day EIT data are:

• Crystal Palace
• Waltham
• Sandy Heath
• Oxford
• Tacolneston
• Bluebell Hill
• Fenton

It would be interesting to track the process of the rollout, things like how many days worth of information there is and which channels are carrying it.

Currently, Winter Hill has not been updated.

Has anyone else noticed the update on their transmitter?

Ross

As Winter Hill is in the North of the country I think that this might not happen until tomorrow as from the information of transmitters being switched on so far, they are working there way north!

I wonder how many teams they have got working on this.

Bluebell Hill is only doing certain channels (BBC mostly) on Sony IDTV.

BTW, how can you scroll +24 hours on a sony IDTV, or is that not possible?

When will the SetPals (besides the Freeway) be updated to support this?

I thought they would be the first in the list.

Unless we will get the 4TVinteractive EPG...

I wonder when the MHEG version will become available so I can view it on the Ex OnDodgy box...

When I phoned Sony they said it wasn't possibe on a DX40 but there is a DX40 OAD next week so keep your fingers cross that you will be able to.

Is Belmont getting this anytime soon, and when it does, will the GDB3's be supported?

the fdt500 is actually a very poor box in comparison with the recent ones, anyway, no plans for it to be supported.

The goodmans does not support the extended epg, yet.

Maybe we should keep this thread just to which transmitters are enabled and which are not. There is already a hardware thread and it would make this one much clearer?

Sorry to be a bossy git in my first post. :D

PS: Beacon Hill, Torquay does not seem to be enabled yet.

unsure on both, however goodmans have said so, but, to be honest, out of the two, i expect the setpal boxes to be updated and the goodmans to be left in the dark...

Will any of these be upgraded to take the data?
