lol, yeah right! lol, you must be female, any self respecting male would have admitted they wanted to see it for the porn! lol, sorry, only joking, but true the bands do look cool in the film
Echoe your sentiments entirely. The sex isn't there for any artistic expression or reason, but just to make sure this s**t film would get some publicity.
That must be the music
I suppose they could show this on the Adult channels, and get away with showing hardcore in an 18.
The Idiots was passed uncut as an 18 by the BBFC. Channel 4 showed it and were investigated by Ofcom as a result. The TV Code is a lot stricter than the BBFC. Strangely, the DVD Extras for 9 Songs are rated R18.
* caps appeared halfway through, no idea why, and I can't be arsed re-writing it. Ahh bugger, in the time I spent writing this I coulda............
Yes, I don't understand this bit about the DVD extras; presumably this means that to get the DVD you've got to got to a licensed sex shop. Or is there an 18 DVD without the extras and a seperate Extras R18 DVD? Very odd.
The TV channels are more strict. Derek Jarman's 1975 film Sebastiane is an 18 cert and contains an erection; when Channel 4 show the film, they have to cut that bit out!
