:confused: Glastonbury = Kylie???  How comes??

I'm a pop fan, but I had my rock days! The thought of Kylie headlining Glastonbury is too much to contemplate - I just knew when McCartney participated last year that it was the beginning of the end of Glastonbury as we know it!!!

I really dont see what the big deal is, Radio one were having a pop because she was appearing. Over the last few years there have been other pop acts such as, Pet Shop Boys, The Beautiful South, Rolf Harris, Sugababes, and Misteeq. I just hope she doesnt sell out and do just songs from her darker days (Confide In Me etc), she should throw Better the Devil just for the hell of it, that should stir the crowd hehe ;)

If only Jason would appear with her!
"especially for you" would go down a storm, don't you think? :)

Could not agree more..it used to b the place we could escape the commercialisation of horrible TOTP "acts" now Glasto is turned into sponsors haven... well Kylie..migod..how dire..thank heavens there are other stages to go whilst this hopeless "singer" shrills for an entire hour and a half in her stupid feathers and costumes..and corset.. I hate this female with a passion..she is so anodyne, vapid, vacuous and boring..(no wonder her blokes muck around every 2 months...)
This is bad news..I did not think Eavis could get lower than dragging in Macca to headline last year..I was wrong

True but at least they can SING, she is a high pitched wail..I have heard a lot of the much over rated tour..and her crucification of Somewhere Over The Rainbow...I hope the rags are right that she is retiring after Glasto... silly woman, lousy singer. All she is is some kind of sex symbol and even that is manufactured by her..she is the product... it is all skin deep....

beginning of the end of glastonbury my arse - the whole point of glastonbury is that its a hugely eclectic mix of music, with over 200 artists playing over 3 days, on about a dozen stages.

i think the festival can withstand the snobbish reaction to a single performer in amongst that lot.

    can't wait myself.

Not a Kylie fan then I take it ;) She has proven on over and over again that she can sing live. As for the tour being over rated, all those people who made it one of the fastest selling tours cant be wrong ;) Oh and for packing it all in after the tour, I can't see this happening, she loves working and she will be around for years to come, hopefully to annoy you no end hehe

As for your comments above, hate is such a strong work, don't you think?
