02 at it again

Is the 02 service playing up I have not been able to send a text for over an hour and it was working fine earlier this afternoon.

    Just thought i would let you guys kno, i can send texts ok, in Ayr, Scotland... Although i was having major trouble last week where i couldnt send any txts and o2 said it was a cell problem, afecting random cells which seemed to be true as when i went to my sisters house 2 min up the road i could send texts and upon my return to my house yet again couldnt send them.... seems to be all too common with 02 these days.. :mad:

    I phoned 02 and theres a recorded message on there saying most people maybe having text probs they are working to fix the fault bare with us. It will be sorted as soon as we can sorry for any incovenience caused. I still cant send text and it been like that since just before 5pm. I hate when this happens.

    This is really terrible service, over 3 hours now, do we have any way of getting compensation?

    I think I will go on the website and get my main number proted over to T-Mobile pay as you go as thats what i'm stuck with at the moment to use for texts at 10p/text at least theres never any problems.

    Compensation for what? Not being able to send a text? Come off it ...

    If you read the T&C's you'll see that they are not liable.

    Thats been the last straw with O2 for me I have emailled them asking for a PAC Code to transfer to T-Mobile Pay as you Go and i've only really had it about 1 week that O2 sim.

    T mob are great!! there U-Fix tarrifs are great, and customer service is superb!!! always solved my problems.

    Just thought i would ask, is everyone that is havin problems with texts on pay as you go, as i can send texts and im on a monthly contract but both my sis and mum are pay as you go and they cant send texts just now?

    02 is beging to be a bit like MSN messager playing up at times. This is crap. Its been down with me from just before 5pm. I managed to send a text 15mins ago but it tane two trys to send.

    Mine said message sent and delivered a few minutes ago but it takes ages on the sending message screen and then eventually sends. Best guess now would be the problem is sorted but everyone is desperate to text, so the system is a little clogged up.
