12 to say they heard Kemal and Vanessa bitching about light bulbs

3 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs.

12 to flame the spell checkers.

4 to correct spelling/grammar flames.

7 to say the flamers are racist and homophobic

16 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb".

4 to condemn those 16 as anal-retentive.

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp".

23 to blame all the whole light-bulb discussion on Maxwell

10 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy.

6 to say that this post has already done before and people shouldn’t post duplicate threads

It depends on the voltage, racial origin, wattage, end cap type and frosted or clear lightbulb to how many forums members it would take to change it.

I think we should spend the rest of BB6 discussing the pros and cons of the effort involved in the said task. We will of course get diverse results from many members spread across a vast geographical area and will probably never get a definitive answer but it must be worth a try??

P.s. Is the lightbulb male or female??

15 to scoff in ridicule and ask whether this information came from the official lightbulb forum...

I've just changed a light bulb in my office (a low voltage halogen one) and I have deduced the following:

I am a forum member, I am currently on my own on the house (apart from my dog), I managed the task (without the assistance of my dog) so I can safely say that it took just ONE forum member to change a light bulb

I blame the Endemol producers for not choosing quality light bulbs in the first place...

...but it was the provocative mix of halogen and lamp bulbs that really caused the friction... ;)

 Ah you got me there :o

Umm.....perhaps I should film it as proof? I'll work something out but I'm not confident I could do it a second time
