but seriously, as to your question - do we care? I didn't run away screaming when he was on screen, but really, presenters like him are (almost) always instantly replacable...and he doesn't seem to care enough about resurrecting his career to change his ummm, questionable (and sometimes illega)l behaviour does he?

I remember when all the rape/sexual assault claims came out, quite a few people (including Richard & Judy and Ian Hyland, who know him well) said that they had been worried about his hedonistic lifestyle prior to this and Ian Hyland said he'd told him he should calm things down and that he was mixing with the wrong people. I'm not a big fan either, but this looks like entrapment to me. A celebrity slapper ruined his career and although he was completely cleared, her career goes on while he is an out of work wreck, who will always be remembered for the accusations!
As for the coke habit, how many celebs do you think don't partake? I think we'd all be surprised.

no i for one wont... he reuined it... he is more than capable of getting help he chooses not to its totally self inflicted who apparently still has learnt his lesson by now.
all the bad press will stick with him because the same thing keeps resurfing over and over again, does it really look like his making a concious effort to sort himself out and get rid of his unhealthy, sick habits.
