Are there any available or on the horizon that wil allow me to record to either HD or DVD and also have twin Freeview tuners? TIA.

Single tuners are coming, but it might still be a while before that ultimate machine hits your local high street. The Reelbox Lite is apparently 'coming soon' but it works out one hell of an expensive, as you have to buy the base unit then add the DTT tuners and DVDR drive.
As an example, there are new dual tuner NIM's to be available which mean that you can replace both of the single DVB-T NIMs with a double and have four tuners!
Besides, nothing's expensive if it has no competition.
