    Well their not that good as they can't seem to link images properly. But no doubt their web host will be able to get a trace on the IP or Proxy or something and do something about it.

    They might be using an old version of something with a bug, which allows people to do this.

    Not sure what تم الاختراق من قبل الكوندور المصر is though.

    The above site is running vB 2. I know of a few sites running the old software that have been hacked in the last few weeks.

    Hopefully DS will be better off with 3.0.9.

    So what is likely to happen now? Will the DRM forum have to start from scratch or can they recover it?

    I imagine the database is intact, if they have a backup they just need to upload a recent copy of the database one (if the current one is harmed), and reupload the vB files.

    If they have a backup it'll be fine.

    I'm sure this isn't the first time the drm forum has been hacked. Took them about a week to sort out last time though :mad:

    doesn't really take a lot of skill to do that though.

    it's either a brute force attack or finding out the admin password from someone.

    There are more ways to hack than just by guessing/brute forcing a password.

    Admittedly, most of them are down to the fact that vBulletin is and always will be a cobbled together system with more holes than swiss cheese...
