Anyone surprised?

This is the blog of a local playwright/journalist who will be in the loop. How many other BBHMs have returned to less-than-auspicious original jobs?

No shame in that (supposing it's true).

Of course not - it just reminded me of his ambitions for his band when he left the house. It must be difficult adjusting, and then adjusting back again.

Didn't he do his music before, when he was a full time hairdresser? He might just be doing that while carrying on with the band. Blokes gotta make a living.

Makosi said she didn't want to go back into nursing - no doubt that will change as it begins to dawn on her that she's not going to make it as a superstar.

Penny did lose her job but the last I'd heard she'd soon found another teaching position, had become a born-again Christian and wanted to put BB well and truly behind her.

Well, like I keep saying about any former housemate who goes back to their old job - good luck to him :)

Dan never struck me as someone who'd be happy ligging and scratching an living by opening supermarkets. Besides, he can run his fingers through my locks anytime :D

You're right about that. He jumped off the sleb bandwaggon months ago. One thing I can say...he's not giving up the music :)

    yeah...........good old Dan !

I'm always pleased to hear of ex HMs going back to proper jobs..........it's just a shame that they don't do it a month after they come out of the house.

I suppose, almost by default, you have to be pretty egotistical, self-confident etc to go on the show in the first place, so i guess they all think they'll be the one who 'makes it'.

I didn't think he was ever on the bandwagon in the first place. Just like his music, nobody wanted him. :p
