Sky Text and FilmFour Appeared

My box now reads that 19 channels are being transmitted from multiplex D, but I can't find any new additions. All there seems to be is "Sky Text" on LCN 108, but that is on Mux C.
MODS: Sorry, can this thread be moved to Terrestrial please?

Sky Text is on Mux C and D

Not sure why it is on Mux D though

    I have Fim Four also

The Sky text on Mux D is a data service only, on Mux C its a data service with MHEG

I could be totally wrong , but if its a data service only it sounds to me like it is accessed via another channel (still confused though)

maybe sky have another channel or something being released that uses the sky text, thats an idea, although probably far from it.

Maybe the Sky Text channel will include some sort of quarter-screen Sky News extra feed?

Chances of Sky giving freeview there new Crime is incredibly slim.
Sky News Quarter screens likely though, I mean they have it on freesat so maybe they want it on freeview now (With one of the screens been called "Free Sky" ;) )
    Thanks,
    Andrew.

Don't get over excited, it's only Sky text which we already have.

Artsworld is very unlikely. Its Sky's "secret" loss leader weapon to attract the sections of society who view Sky as "council house television" into taking Sky's subscription packages.

They were allowed 75% of mux C. If remember correctly, they only got 75% so they couldn't have full control of the mux.

Sky Text on LCN 108 here, and More4+1 renamed FilmFour (although the EPG data still says More4+1). The MHEG has been switched about, with the FilmFour part at the top, and the M4+1 part at the bottom.

That Sky Text channel has made Sky Text the fastest text service on freeview now, almost every page I pick loads in a second. Used to takes ages to spool.

It loads instantly now, faster than any other text service on DTT.

when I load up 108 I get a splash screen for a split seccond, its a brownish one saying Data Services Laoding Please Wait, It has some graphic on there too, then it flies upto the normal Sky text one.

i'll try and screen cap it.

It basically has the owner of the interactive services.

i think skytext being added as a seperate LCN and it being much faster is a coincidence. because i havent rescanned for it and am still getting the speed increase. i am guessing they changed the coding behind-the-scenes or allocated more bandwidth.

I did a rescan and nothing has changed.

I still have More 4+1 on the EPG which is showing Big Brother , and Sky 3 still says Sky Travel , but then I have the Thomson DTI2300 so that is of no surprise what so ever really.

On the Guildford relay I am getting 108 on Mux C with nothing there, and on Mux D I've got 806 which gives me the Sky text traffic lights. Seems a little unusual? Exiting from the Sky text gets me back to 806!!

Mux D also has the new Film Four graphic on 31. Mux 2 is still transmitting the Teletext graphic on LCN 0.

As far as I can remember you need to delete the channels first
