Whats the version number for the 2004 version

The last one released is the same as the prior one, it was just renumbered

Just had a check 1.00.17 & 2.00.01 are the same (just the number changed)

    it says PGTTF1.00.14
it's seized up a couple of times which prompted the enquiry and now I look at the website 1.00.17 lists a fix for loss of HDD

    That is for the 9200T.

The OP was referring to 8000T.

I doubt very much that they will ever re-transmit, but I'll ask Humax and let you know.

thanks, I thought if they're still selling them with older firmware they'd maybe still transmit updates

    Good news for you.

Have spoken with Humax, and they will try and get a retransmit within the next Month.

Hope that is of help to you.

Barry - I guess development on the 8000 is now ceased?

Although mine is rock solid stable, it would have been nice to get the 'play one programme while recording another' function that was rumoured in coming, also the autopadding, and the 'dont dump me out back to live TV when I'm watching a programme in chaseplay' problem.

Jamie, I dont know about 'development' like new features but when I last enquired about the 8000t (I think May) Humax in Ireland had been in contact with engineers in Korea about some more fixes. No iea how long that process will take or what will be looked at though :(

Ah that sounds more positive than negative then. There isnt that much wrong with it really, but some fixes to some of its 'quirks' rather than calling them 'bugs' would be welcome.

Fixing the NER bug once and for all would be a start. It's not good enough just to know how to avoid it, it should be fixed.
