Puma kit

Watching another game where both teams are wearing Puma (Tunisia v Saudi Arabia).

Is it a desired effect, maybe to help keep cool, but they look like they are sweating buckets in these kits?

It looks like they have all been under the shower wearing them.

Does anyone know the ratio of kit providers at the WC - the Puma ones do seem popular even if they do look terrible(y) wet!

    Thanks for that. :)

It is the first time I have noticed this Puma kit.

Are any teams in the Premiership wearing Puma?

Fulham wear Puma at the moment. Also I believe Spurs and Reading will be next season. There may be others.

My Team Coventry City who play in the Championship are having Puma Kits for the first time this season, our new shirt looks very good!

I don't like our new home shirt. I was hoping it'd be the same style as the majority of Puma WC shirts.

I do like the Italy kit, Puma seem to have the nicer designed kit than the other manufactures.

Admiral went into decline and are now available at ASDA:

Reebok were acquired by Adidas in 2004

Admiral do one or two lower league teams.
And just to add my thought, the umbro kits look cheap and tacky compared with the classy Adidas and puma kits.

Thanks for the info about Admiral. It strange to see that France aren't wearing Le Coq Sportif (some kit designs here and here).

I found the site below with kits for Hummel, Diadora and Xara as well as some other lesser brands. http://www.newhorizonssoccer.com (bottom left under MANUFACTURERS).

A bit of Googling and clicking pulled up this site: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk

It shows the history of kits designs and styles for many teams in the Football League. The site is brand new and the owner is asking for help, contributions and/or corrections. If you can help please contact him.

It's well worth checking out, it might bring back a few memories too.

Crikey - that kit must get a bit messy in the heat! Mind you - those peanuts would give you some energy :)
