I remember this, however when it was shown on the highlights it was glossed over and we never actually saw the intruders. All we saw was The HM's running in the house, it never made sense at the time.

I can vaguely remember this too! I think they were given alcohol later to help them relax and get over the intrusion. They didn't generally get much alcohol in those days, not like they do now. They used to have to get it out of their food budget and they usually only had enough money for some cheap cider.

:eek: they had 2 presenters? I never knew, how long did she present it for? the whole of the first series, or just some coz I started watching on BB3 and she werent in it then!

I'm not sure you know! I'm not sure wether she was just there as a special guest or presented the whole series!?!

She only co-hosted for the first two weeks of BB2.... I got the impression the producers didn't think Natalie was working out and got rid of her.

After Pennie was evicted, she took over... having a go at TV presenting..... then each evicted housemate after that had a go at being the co-host with dermot.... however even this idea started to fizzle out half way through the series and towards the end of BB2 Dermot was pretty much hosting on his own.

I'd love to see the BB6 end show where they had the U2 "Sometimes you can't make it" song with series highlights. That was a really good feature.

Watching those old BB2 clips, I wonder how some of them would have faired in later series. Narinder was so funny at times, a bit of a bitch at others - she would have been a star in the last 2 series.

I love Helen's reaction - screaming her head off! I bet BB were glad that happened - at least it interrupted another one of Paul's dramatic stories about his day out shopping!

As for the intruders, how stupid can you be? Trespassing AND breaking into a House full of cameras!! But then it just shows how bad the security was/is... an intruder also got into the BB3 house. Also, didn't Fathers 4 Justice try to break into the CBB4 house this year??

Yes, she did do that.

Pity they got rid of her. Dermot was good, but in recent series he doesn't seem to be enjoying it as much.

It started as a proper stand-alone series on BB2

However during BB1, Dermot was the presenter of T4 and he used to do regular features on Big Brother almost like it was BBLB.... like the evicted housemate of the week would be a guest on T4 etc. etc. and at the end of BB1 there was a public auction to buy stuff from the house for charity and Dermot did that from inside the house as part of T4.
