    This is the guys website

His work has even appeared on a DW DVD, a recolourised clip from "The Daleks Masterplan" was used in an extra on the "Genesis of the Daleks" DVD.

As well as recolourisations he did a de-colourisation on the 6th Doctor. :D

That is absolutely excellent. The Hartnell/Troughton stuff looked like it was shot in colour.
If only the BBC had put Colin Baker in that outfit!

It really looks nice - would really be nice if something could be done with this idea, but as the guy said, it might take him years to do a whole episode! :-(

I'm sure it was hard work and he's done a good job but in the end colorization = pointless. I certainly wouldn't wouldn't want the BBC to pursue it.

Like it or not (and I don't), there are many people who won't watch TV or films in black and white. So the question is - is it worth spending the time and money 'colorizing' historic material so that these people get a chance to appreciate it, or should we let them miss out?

If you liked that, then you might also like this compilation video created by the same person (Babel).
It also has a few of the colourised clips featured in the subject video of this thread.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex-Yw0ermnY&mode=related&search=

It uses what I think is Orbital's version of the Doctor Who theme, which is what I believe to be the greatest version of the Doctor Who theme.
(They could have used Orbital's version for this new releaunched series of Doctor Who, I'd have been happy;))
If only the actual series was as cool as these video clips make it appear to be.
