So what channels can you get on the COMAG Reciever as it comes?

And how good is it for the money?

And also on another post someone on here you mentioned about patching. What is this and what does it do. I gather it's some sort of Firmware update. How do you go about doing this. I take it it's by RS232?

    Sorry for all the questions!!

RS232 cable to load new s/w onto the receivers. You can load unofficial (patched) software onto them. However, discussion of what you can do with this s/w is forbidden by the t&c's of the DS membership......

    Oh right...

So is the COMAG III Worth getting, or should I get something else. I'm only really interested in playing about a bit. Not wanting to spen much money, and not interested in subscribing to any channels etc?

Or should I get a reciever when I can have the option of putting different cards into it in the future?

So how easy is it to tune get the dish facing the right direction.

I know along time ago I had an old Analog sat reciever and I moved the dish away from 19.2E and got another sat. But no idea what sat it was though.

How easy will it be to find the 30W etc?

I was watching n-tv and dream tv for the dance the other night on 42e . And I get aload of hotbirds from MTV Polska to Italy

Remember the comag III camping set comes with a meter so theres no excuse to stay with sky when it will be dead easy to align with the meter. and a full sat system for £69!!!

Its comes with a compass that attaches to the dish so aligning will be no issue at all when I got it two years ago I never touched a dish before and I picked up 19.2 and 13e within 5 minutes

Only 2-5?? I'll have no chance then!!!

What do you mean plenty later on in the year? And where do you get all this info from? Do you work for a Lidl distribution center then?

I read on another forum about a Comag receiver that is powered by a 12v battery. Is that the receiver in the camping kit? Is it mains powered as well?

Where can I find out about the full range of Comag receivers and specifications e.t.c.?

Will the Comag FTA 2CI be sold with a dish, sat meter and all the extras?

I bought one of these when they went on sale last year. Nice bit of kit. Went back and picked up an 80cm dish, lnb and sat meter when they did those as well
