I have sent this company (sms.ac) an email asking them for a full refund, because I got a top up of 5 pound today and this evening I have been inundated with there stupid adverts, which has now wasted £3:50 on my phone! I am very unhappy because I would have understood if I had asked to get special txt alerts, telling me information I could find out on the internet! But no they have nearly wasted ALL my credit! I cancelled my membership hoping it would end me losing all my money! but NO i have had to turn my mobile off, as I am being spamed my there shitty service! I would have understood if I had actualluy clicked on the buttons to get sports alerts, what girls wants doing, but you see I haven't and I am anoyed, and have asked for a refund. I have also said in the email that I may take it to trading standereds as I am very anoyed, becuase I havent asked for these alerts!
I will inform you on what reply I get, but I would also like your help, what else can I do?
Cheers

I AM ALSO GETTING A REFUND (WELL SO THEY SAY, LETS SEE IF THEY PAY UP YET). IF YOU HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS HERE IS THE EMAIL ADDRESS RSIAL@CORP.SMS.AC OR REFUNDS@CORP.SMS.AC

If you've signed up to a service that has some provision for these messages in the T&Cs, you're boned.
However, if you've not signed up to anything and then some blighter starts sending you unsolicited messages and charging you for the process, they're very probably being very naughty! 'Inertia Selling' is a term that comes to mind - mention it to Trading Standards and watch their little eyes light up!!
Sorry - double post!!
Thanks in advance!
