i have just noticed Quizcall has moved to Ch.36 to be beside Itv Play. in my opinion the channels are awaste of space but so far Itv Play is the better of the two as it lets callers through more often...but there still crap:D

It'll also be on Ch.5 on Sunday nights now as well, just what Terrestrial TV needs right now!
What a bizarre way for C4 to get their quiz channel on terrestrial tv. Instead of putting it on their own channel for no extra cost they will instead have to either revenue share or pay five for the airtime.

Yet another channel to avoid at night.
Well, at least it's not interfering with Channel 4's schedules, or cheapening _their_ brand.

and I wonder how long we will have to wait for the Freeview site to update: http://www.freeview.co.uk/channels/view.php?/47
although they seem abit more on the ball these days
quizcall moved from 37 to 36
AND new channel SMILETV added at 37
(often new channels are added to TIVO a few days before the channel actually appears)
I have no idea what SMILETV is though!

The web page associated with http://www.smiletv.com says it is for sale.
Hmm... and it doesn't give any satellite details like the other channels. It also has a French phone number despite being based in the UK.
Either a red herring, or something new, I guess.

That explains why our box was talling us about new channels then.
Also, in London at least, there is 'Service e040' on channel 506, which is likely to be for the BBC HD trial for 500 homes in London only.

A box that can move... is it on wheels?

I wonder if Five are testing the water to see if a quiz channel would be viable for either Five.2 or Five.3

I think Quizcall will have to become much more entertaining if it is going to last now that ITV play is here.

Well if nobody will be watching I'll gladly set my alarm so I can wake up at that time and take the cash on offer...

Very true. The complete opposite to ITV thank goodness.
